 There are going to be total five eclipses in 2011, out of which three are solar eclipses and remaining two are lunar eclipses. Surya grahan in Indiacannot be seen this year i.e. no solar eclipse can be witnessed from India in 2011. However, both of the lunar eclipses can be seen from India. 1. Partial Solar Eclipse (Khandgras Surya Grahan) Partial solar eclipse, which is the first eclipse of the year, can be seen on January 4, 2011. It can be witnessed from most of the Europe, northern parts of Africa, middle-east Asia, north-western China and some parts of the north western India. As per the Indian Standard Time, the starting time of this solar eclipse is 12:10 and it ending time is 16:31. There are two Chandra grahan in 2011 as follows: 2.
